Da Cheng Chuan was the crowning achievement of Grand Master Wang Xiang Zhai (pronounced “Wang Shang Ji”) who travelled for more than 10 years throughout China in the first part of the 20th century, studying under the great masters of his days. In the 1920s, he began sharing the fruit of his research with students in Shanghai and later in Beijing.
