ANNOUNCING
MASTER LAM'S NEW WORK

We are very happy to announce the coming of Master Lam’s new project!

This project is in the form of a video series.

For a small glimpse, please click the link below and see our promotion trailer:

https://youtu.be/X3VEUDQ5Jho

Now, more than ever, people are in need of our Zhan Zhuang system.  Yet, at the same time, many people are far less able to or willing to commute.  In light of this development, Master Lam has decided to create a teaching video series to help those people.

At this moment, our aim is to have the series on an online platform. This would allow anyone to view it from anywhere in the world.  More details will be announced once we are ready.

Much appreciated if you would share the link with friends and family who may be interested.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

CLOSED FOR WINTER

Our studio is now closed for the winter holiday!

We plan to re-open once again in the middle of January 2022.  However, given the unforeseeability of the new variant, we will announce our re-opening date at a later time.

Wishing you all a Safe Christmas and a Happy New Year!

CLASSES IN SEPTEMBER

We are very happy to announce that our Association will finally re-open its public classes in September!

We understand that many people are still very wary of indoor gatherings and taking the public transport.  So we will begin with only 2 Saturday classes.  (Please see our 'Class' page for the class schedule.)  Once we know people are ready, we will then bring back more classes.

Our first class will be on Saturday, 4th September 2021!

Unfortunately, these classes will be limited to members only until further notice.

CLOSED FOR CHRISTMAS!

Our studio will be closing for the Christmas holiday effective from Monday, 21st December 2020.

Apologies for the short notice, but this is because of the sudden government announcement.  Due to the lockdown, we cannot say at the moment when our studio will re-open.  Please visit our website from time to time for further announcement.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!

STUDIO CLOSED AGAIN

Due to the government announcement on Saturday, 31st October 2020, all on-site services at the studio will be suspended from Thursday, 5th November 2020.  In another words, there will be no healing session and no private tuition until further notice.

Currently, the suspension is expected to be 4 weeks long.  But it is too soon to say.  Once we have an reopening date, we will announce it promptly on this website.  Once again, thank you for your patience.

STUDIO RE-OPENING!

After many months of waiting, we can finally say that we are once again re-opened for business.  Private tuitions and healing sessions are available by appointment only.

To be 'Convid-Secure', we would ask all visitors to wash their hands as they come and leave.  In accordance with the guidelines, we will have precautionary measures in place for any close contact.  (Anyone with coughs or fever should cancel their appointments with us.)

With regard to our classes, unfortunately, they are still suspended.  We will announce our resuming date once we have more information from the government.

CLASSES SUSPENDED

Due to the latest government guideline, we are sad to announce the suspension of our weekly classes until further notice.

However, it is in such harsh times that health-orientated, internal arts like Chi Kung shine most brightly. (In China, many TV/internet channels are strongly promoting people to practise various Chi Kung exercises to its citizens.)  If you are already in self-isolation, we recommend you to practise your Chi Kung diligently on your own in the meantime.

As soon as our classes resume, we will notify everyone.

Stay safe and stay healthy.

NEW BEGINNERS' TAI CHI

A brand-new Tai Chi class will be starting on Saturday, 7th March 2020. It will be a weekly class from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. The class will be for beginners and is suitable for all ages. You need not to have any prior knowledge or experience.

This is another chance to learn the Lam Style Tai Chi from the beginning, move by move. As you know, you cannot just drop-in to a Tai Chi class at anytime. So if you have missed our previous start date back in September 2019, here is your second chance!  Don’t miss out!

This will replace the existing Tai Chi class, which had already completed teaching the basic Short Form.

If you have any further questions, just give us a call.

More Tai Chi classes on Saturday

Our new Tai Chi class on Saturday, the 14th September, was a great success! The room was filled with people eagered to learn the art.  Lots of new faces too.  Saying that, our Association prefers to teach in smaller groups (for a greater face-to-face attention).

Therefore, our Association has decided to split the new class into two!  The first class will be at the same time slot from 11:30am to 12:30pm.  The second class will follow on immediately from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.  Both classes will be teaching the same contents.  So no need to worry about which one to choose.

If you have missed our first lesson, don't worry.  We are still at the beginning of teaching our Tai Chi form.  So you can still join in and catch up.

Unfortunately, the Staff class would need to be suspended until further notice.

New Tai Chi Class for Beginners

Our Association is very happy to announce the launch of a new public class on Saturday, the 14th of September 2019.  It will be a weekly class starting from 11:30am to 12:30pm. The class will be for beginners of Tai Chi Chuan. You do not need to have any prior knowledge or experience. It is suitable for all ages.

The health benefits of Tai Chi are world-renowned and need no introduction. In this class, you will be learning Master Lam’s very own style, move by move, as seen in the book ‘Step-by-Step Tai Chi’. This is one of the earliest style to be publicly taught in the UK. The class will be taught by Sifu Tin Yu at our association studio.

This is the first time in recent years where you can learn our Tai Chi form from the beginning at our Association. Don’t miss this opportunity!
